Dr. Cecchet is a board-certified expert and has worked on more than 350 cases in State and Federal civil and criminal courts, including the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and the Supreme Court of the United States.
Dr. Cecchet testified for the Washington State Senate Law and Justice Committee in 2014 on Domestic Sex Trafficking.
She has spent more than 3,500 hours conducting forensic interviews. Dr. Cecchet is licensed in Washington, Idaho, and has been granted Authority to Practice Interjurisdictional Telepsychology (APIT) and/or Temporary Authorization to Practice (TAP) by the PSYPACT Commission and is able to practice in 35 states.
Evaluation Specialties
Dr. Cecchet conducts comprehensive, objective, and evidence-based forensic evaluations for both the plaintiff and the defense bar. She specializes in child victimization, school-based victimization, educational impact, child sexual abuse, torture, and sex crimes. Dr. Cecchet’s forensic practice includes evaluations for civil and criminal matters and extends to both the juvenile and adult populations.
